Realizing God’s Grace – Share Your Story With Others

Have you overcome the greatest challenge of your life through the grace of God? Was your deliverance from hardship so profound that you then felt compelled to share His grace with others facing a similar challenge?

True faith is facing our struggles with the calm certainty that God will provide what we need most in our times of duress. And when we make it through the storm to the other side, we are stronger and wiser. And that is a glorious testimony for God. He can lean on God’s grace to strengthen us when we face life’s greatest challenges head-on. The Bible gives us many assurances when we face such trials.

Here are just three examples:

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.
— 1 Peter 5:10
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.
— 2 Chronicles 20:17
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
— Isaiah 40:31

If through God’s grace you or someone you know has found strength while overcoming life’s greatest challenges, and then went on to support others, please consider sharing your story. I will consider your story for possible publication in my next book, tentatively titled Realizing God’s Grace: Never Too Soon & Never Too Late. You can remain anonymous, if you so desire.

At any point, before granting final approval, you can decide to withdraw from the process. I will involve you every step of the way in preparing your story. You will have a chance to review the draft and make suggested changes. We might need to talk on the phone to discuss specific questions I have.

Initially, I need a brief outline of the story — simple bullet points covering background on the situation, the extent of your or your loved one’s struggle and desperation, and the evidence and impact of God’s grace. Recalling particularly emotional moments about your hardship and your realization of God’s grace will add to the story’s impact. If you want to disclose your story in a way that could positively impact thousands of lives, please send the indicated outline in a Word document of no more than 1,000 words to Fjsievert@yahoo.com. I look forward to reading about how you or your loved one has realized God’s grace.
