Getting Involved with Stories of God's Grace as a Pastor

Our Sincere Thanks

Thank you for your interest in Stories of God's Grace. We praise God for bringing you here. We look forward to the work He has planned for us to accomplish together. The Stories of God's Grace team is here to help you in the challenging job of being a pastor. With prepared hearts, we are open to any of your questions or suggestions, and we are ready to serve you.

Our Purpose

This website has two intentions: to collect stories from willing Christians about their experiences with God and to share these stories with all those who seek God and want to draw nearer to Him. We believe that with these two simple purposes, we can create a community that unites Christians through the sharing of stories and the awareness they bring about God’s loving grace to people who are seeking answers or relief. This applies equally to Christians who are just beginning their walk and to Christians whose journeys have been long and fruitful.

How to Join us in our Journey

Get Notified about Amazing Stories of God's Grace

The simplest way to participate with Stories of God's Grace is to sign up for our periodic emails. We will alert you when we share stories on the website. We realize that not every story we receive or publish will resonate with you. However, we know how important it is for pastors to be able to pair current, real-life experiences with Scripture. We will pray that this website will be an important and useful resource for you in your efforts to bring God's glory to your congregation.

Share Your Own Testimony

Sometimes churchgoers believe that because someone has received and acted on a calling to shepherd Christians, that person — the pastor — has all the answers. That expectation can be difficult to live up to. Of course pastors are men and women who are subject to the same worldly influences and temptations as everyone else.

The Stories of God’s Grace team believes that your unique experiences and stories — the type that have led you to commit your career to the ministry — are some of the most God-revealing and inspirational stories we have read. We would love to receive and publish your story.

We encourage you to share it with us so that Stories of God’s Grace may inspire its visitors to seek a greater involvement with God and His church.

Become part of our digital prayer team (DPT)

James 5:16 says, "Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." At Stories of God's Grace, we are committed to lifting up our brothers and sisters who need prayer. What a privilege it is to speak to the Lord God on someone else's behalf.

Please become a part of our digital prayer team by signing up below. We will email to you prayer requests from visitors to this online community. You can share these requests with your own ministry team and congregation. Together, we can pray and wait patiently to see God at work.

Stories of God's Grace has a social media following of more than 200,000 people and growing. We hope to use Facebook and Twitter as a resource to lead people to Christ, bring glory to God and facilitate healing for those in need. We will be requesting prayer support through social media. We anticipate powerful results when thousands of God's children are praying simultaneously for someone in need.

One of the many complimentary things Fred Sievert says about pastors and church leaders is, "They are the busiest and hardest-working people I have ever met." As the former president of a Fortune 100 company, he has seen his share of hard workers. Since his retirement, Fred has been working hard, too – to build God's kingdom and become a resource for Christians. Feel free to reach out to him directly, with a "hello," an introduction, a question or an idea of how he might better serve you through this digital ministry. He looks forward to hearing from you.
